Ji-Soo Jang is currently a senior research scientist in KIST (Electronic Material Research Center). He received the B.S. degree in materials science and engineering from Hanyang University, Seoul, Korea, in 2014 (Summa Cum Laude, Honors program student). After then, He received his Ph.D. (2020) from the Department of Material Science and Engineering of KAIST. He worked as a visiting scholar in Chemical Engineering at MIT (2016) and the Department of Chemistry at UC Irvine (2017). He did his postdoctoral research at Department of Chmical and Environmental Engineering, Yale University as full-funded scientist from 2020 to 2021. Dr. Jang's current research focuses on development of chemical sensing platform and energy harvesting devices by employing a new class of nanobuilding blocks.
